The 2017 Pyrenees and Girona tour is a collaboration between Willie’s World Cycling and Bikecat. Founded by Jaume Cabruja, Bikecat is based in Girona, Spain in the region of Catalunya.

We are very pleased to collaborate with Bikecat for a number of reasons. Like Willie’s World Cycling, Bikecat is a small tour operator that appreciates the value of small, intimate tours with a balanced itinerary of cycling, food and wine. Jaume and I have worked very closely in developing an itinerary that will take us through the epic climbs of the Pyrenees to the countryside and coastal areas near Girona on a variety of terrain, astonishing beauty and quiet roads.

You will be treated with the same personalized attention you have become accustomed to with Willie’s World Cycling. In addition to having the company of Jaume and his guides, Willie Joffroy and Daniele Righi will also be part of our Pyrenees and Girona team. I am extremely excited about this opportunity and I feel confident you will have a very memorable experience.

For our non-cycling guests we will organize activities while we are on the road.

Together we will savor the mountain cuisine of the Pyrenees and the avant-garde dishes of Girona along with the fine regional wines.

For accommodations we will be based for 3 days at the Hotel Villa Paulita, 2 days at Mas Les Comelles  and 3 days at the Hotel Historic in Girona.

This tour promises to be another great collaboration between Willie’s World Cycling and Bikecat.

Food & Wine

We will savor the delicacies and wines of the Pyrenees and Girona.
