The Kitzbuhel and Valdobbiadene tour will take us from the Kitzbuhel Alps in Austria to the vineyards of Valdobbiadene and the iconic Monte Grappa climb in the Veneto region of Italy.

The first 3 days we will be in at the Grand Hotel Kitzbuhel in the mountain hamlet of Kitzbuhel, an internationally renowned ski resort. The Kitzbuhel Alps are located within the provinces of Tyrol and Salzburg.

We will ride in the green, forested Kitzbuhel Alps. During our 3 day visit we will be challenged by a variety of climbs in this beautiful landscape.

Our lunches will be on the road or picnic style. After our daily ride we will have time to relax. Our dinners will be either at the hotel or in one of the many nice restaurants in Kitzbuhel.

On day 4 we will transfer to Follina, Italy in the Veneto region. We will stay at Hotel Dei Chiostri in the famous Valdobbiadene area well known for the production of Prosecco.

We will enjoy 4 days of cycling in and around the vineyards of the Valdobbiadene. The terrain is hilly and at times steep.

We will also climb the iconic Monte Grappa which has been featured 4 times in the Giro d’Italia. This is a challenging climb with a deep history of World War 1.

Lunch will be on the road each day.

Breakfast will be served daily before our rides, and lunch will usually be on the road.

After our rides we will relax before our dinner. There are many culinary gems in this area where we will savor the food and wines at our dinners.

We have curated our rides to be challenging, but leaving us with enough energy for our evening dinners. The distances will range between 50 Km and 90Km with elevation gains between 1,000 Mt and 2,000 Mt.

Our tour will be led by an incredible team of expert guides, all residents of Italy.

Marco Saligari  is very familiar with all routes of the tour and he has also competed on these roads against some of the most famous cyclists in the world of his time. Marco completed 12 Giro d’Italia with 3 stage victories, 5 Tour de France and overall victory at the Tour de Suisse among many other World Tour races. He also works with RAI Sport as a commentator in the studio or 0n the back of a motorcycle following the riders. He is highly respected and very popular among his former tour colleagues.
